Hosea 6:3 – June 9, 2020
Let us know, let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, like the latter and former rain to the earth.

God’s restored presence and blessings would be like the rain that waters and renews the earth. The “latter” rains of Israel came in the spring and caused the plants to grow. The “former” rains came in the autumn and softened the ground for plowing and sowing. For us, knowledge means information, facts, and concepts. But in Biblical times, knowledge was centered around personal relationships.

Knowing God means entering into an intimate relationship with Him. It means identifying with Him and learning to view everything as God does. Knowing God will transform our thoughts and actions, our priorities, values and our relationships with one another.

Let the presence of God in your life be on display today, and the let the relationship you have with Him be evident to those around you.
